Tripoli – Our staff at the NJQ Libya office have visited the Libyan Trademark and Patent Offices and ascertained that as a result of placing protection over public properties by the National Transitional Council, the offices have not suffered any damage during the recent Libyan revolution and the files remain unharmed.
Although some of the employees have resumed their duties, the offices are not receiving any applications at the current time.
According to the officials, the offices will be fully operational at the beginning of October 2011, and they also confirmed that any deadlines falling between the commencements of the revolution until now will be extended for a further two months from the date of resuming operations.
