This is to advise that, as of 30 January 2012, legalization of documents for filing patents, trademarks, and designs is not required and alternatively, authentication by Apostille will be sufficient since Oman has joined Hague Convention.

Please be informed that any document legalized up to the Omani Consulate prior to the date of the joining of Oman to the said Convention is still acceptable.
